Hawaiian Airlines Flights to Vegas

Web Check-in available from 24 hours before your scheduled departure: Web check-in online, print your boarding pass and prepay baggage fees for most Hawaiian Airlines flights. Flights to and from all international destinations included. 

Kiosk Check-in: Kiosks are available in the departure lobbies of most airports. When you skip the lines at the counters and check yourself in, you can:
Check-in for any Hawaiian Airlines flight
View available seat assignments if necessary
Change or upgrade your seat, if available
Print tags for your check-in luggage

Please prepare the following for kiosk check in: 
• Your confirmation code (6 letters)
• Your E-Ticket number (13 numbers)
• Any valid credit or debit card in your name
• Your HawaiianMiles account number on the reservation, OR
• A boarding pass generated from a web check-in within 24 hours of departure.
 
Baggage counter: Check-in opens online 24 hours before departure. 
For all flights, online check-in closes 1 hour prior to departure. Kindly note that Hawaiian Airlines is unable to accept checked bags more than 4 hours prior to departure.

Each Passenger is permitted one carry-on bag and one personal item. A personal item is a laptop bag, briefcase, purse, or backpack that can fit under the seat in front of you. 

Size requirements:
Personal item: Must fit the seat in front of you
Carry-on bag: 1 carry on bag not exceeding 22 x 14x 9 in inclusive of wheels and handles and must not exceed 25 lbs 

The number of allowed free checked bags depends on your destination: within the state of Hawaii, between Hawaii and North America (either direction), or Internationally.

Neighbor Island: 
• 1st bag: $25
• 2nd bag: $25

North America
• 1st bag: $30
• 2nd bag: $40

International and First Class 
• 1st bag: FREE
• 2nd bag: FREE

3 or more bags –  Each additional bag will cost the ff: 
• Neighbor Island: $50
• North America: $100
• International: $150 

Note: bag fees are not pre-paid.Payment must be made during check-in, online, or at the airport. 

 Oversize and Overweight bags: 

If your bag weight exceeds 50 pounds (23 kg) or if the sum of its dimensions – length, width, and height – goes beyond 62 inches (157 cm), an extra charge will incur over and above the regular baggage fee.

To make changes to an existing ticket, please contact Hawaiian Airlines’ Reservations Department. 

Please be aware that while there are no change fees for tickets purchased in Main Cabin or First/Business Class, a fare difference may apply if the rescheduled flight exceeds the value of the original ticket price. See their Fare Rules and List of All Fees for more details on change restrictions and charges. If your reservation was made through a travel agency, additional fees may apply.

Hawaiian Airlines’ policy varies depending on the ticket type and reason for the missed flight.

If uncontrollable circumstances like a delayed connecting flight, severe weather, or a medical emergency was the cause of your missed flight, Hawaiian Airlines may provide you with a seat on the next available flight to your destination at no extra cost.

However, if the missed flight was due to controllable reasons such as failure to show up on time, you may have to pay a change fee and fare difference to reserve a seat on the subsequent available flight.

To prevent additional fees and inconvenience, it’s crucial to get in touch with Hawaiian Airlines as soon as possible after missing your flight to explore your options.

Pets in the Cabin
Hawaiian Airlines accepts dogs or cats as pets traveling in the cabin, and are happy to accommodate your pet in their pressurized, temperature-controlled cabin compartment.

Due to floor space limitations, pets traveling in cabin will not be accepted in the First Class cabin on all North America flights, and pets will not be accepted for travel in the cabin in any class of service on flights to/from New York, Boston, Orlando or Austin. They will also not be accepted on International routes (including Pago Pago).

Pet carrier requirements
• Carriers must be soft-sided and leak proof.
• The carrier must be large enough to allow the animal to sit, stand upright, turn and lay down in a natural position.
• The animal is required to stay in its carrier while in the terminal and onboard the aircraft.
• Animal carriers are prohibited from bulkhead, emergency exit rows and rows adjacent to emergency exit rows.
• The carrier must be stowed under the seat directly in front of the guest.
• The carrier must not exceed 16 x 10 x 9.5 in.
• The animal and the carrier may not exceed 25 pounds total.
• If an animal and carrier exceeds 25 pounds total when weighed, the pet will not be accepted for travel in the cabin of the aircraft and may be accepted as checked baggage.

What pets are allowed to fly with Hawaiian Airlines?        
• One (1) adult dog or cat to occupy a single carrier; or two (2) puppies or kittens of the same breed or litter provided they are at least eight (8) weeks old and not more than six (6) months old. The total weight of the animal(s) and the container must not exceed 25 pounds total.  

Hawaiian Airlines reserves the right to require documentation from the animals treating veterinarian to determine the animals’ age and eligibility to travel.

Hawaiian Airlines will not accept more than one pet carrier for transport in the cabin per guest.

Pets Traveling as Checked Baggage 
Hawaiian Airlines is happy to accommodate your dog or cat in their pressurized, temperature-controlled cargo compartment of their aircraft.

For information on Hawaiian Airlines’ policies regarding acceptance of live animals, please see their Contract of Carriage Rule 19. Pets are prohibited as checked baggage on all international routes.
