Online Check-in: Bypass queues and directly proceed to your gate by checking in online between 1 to 24 hours before your flight. Print your boarding pass, and you’re all set.

If you have baggage to check, simply pay the fees online using a credit or debit card and drop them off at the designated location. Additionally, you can modify your seat assignment, upgrade to First Class, and print a receipt.

Mobile Check-in: You can also check in via the airlines’ website or mobile app from 1 to 24 hours before your flight.

Baggage Check-in: To pay for checked baggage fees, visit the airport kiosks or Bag Tag Stations up to 4 hours before your flight’s departure time. After tagging your bags, proceed to the bag drop area. Check out their airport guides for more information such as ticket counter hours and gate locations.

Ticket Counter Check-in: If you have a paper ticket or require assistance with check-in, Alaska airlines’ customer service agents are available for in-person support. Note that checked baggage is accepted only within 4 hours of your scheduled departure time.

Carry-on luggage: The size limit for carry-on bags on flights is 22 x 14 x 9 inches or 45 linear inches (free of charge), including wheels and handles. Ensure your bag complies with these dimensions before traveling.

You are allowed one carry-on bag and one small personal item, such as a purse, briefcase, laptop bag, and medically necessary items. For a smooth boarding process, please follow the size restrictions to ensure your items fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you.

Checked luggage: Is limited to 62 linear inches and 50 pounds.

Standard bag pricing is as follows:
First bag: $30
Second bag: $40
Third + additional bags: $100 each

*during peak travel periods, Alaska Airlines may limit the number of bags that can be checked per passenger

Oversize or overweight baggage fees:

Bags that weigh 51-100 pounds: $100
Bags with linear dimensions of 63-115 inches: $100

24-Hour Cancellation Policy: Receive a full refund if you cancel your flights within 24 hours of purchase, or make changes to your itinerary within the same time frame without incurring change fees.

After 24 hours, non-refundable tickets may only qualify for a credit certificate or a credit deposit into My Wallet (Mileage Plan members)

Alaska Airlines’ no-show policy will apply if you forget to cancel your ticket before your flight takes off.

1: Alaska Airlines will cancel your flight reservation and all connecting and return flights.
2: Unfortunately, the money and Mileage Plan™ miles you spent on non-refundable fares won’t be available for credit for future flights.

Mobility and wheelchair assistance services are provided for individuals requiring the use of wheelchairs or other mobility devices. Wheelchairs and wheelchair escorts can be found at all airports for customer convenience. Additionally, some airports offer electric carts for customer use.

All varieties of personal wheelchairs are accommodated, including folding, collapsible, non-folding manual wheelchairs, electric/battery-powered wheelchairs, and electric-powered carts or scooters.

Alaska Airlines offers Fur-st Class Care for your beloved furry companions for a fee of $100 each way.

You have two options. Pets in cabin or Pets in baggage compartment (climate controlled)

Pets in cabin:

• Travelers must be 18 years or older to bring a pet in the cabin.
• Pets not allowed in emergency exit rows or bulkhead rows.
• Pets count towards carry-on allowance: pet carrier + personal item or pet carrier + standard carry-on.
• First Class: 3 pet carriers per flight; Main cabin: 8 pet carriers per flight.
• Maximum of 2 pet carriers in the main cabin with purchase of an adjacent seat.
• Allowed pets: dogs, cats, rabbits, and household birds.
• Dogs and cats must be at least 8 weeks old, weaned, and eating solid food for at least 5 days.
• Pets must remain in carriers (with door/flap secured) during boarding, deplaning, in the Alaska Lounge, and on the aircraft.
• Pets must be stowed under the seat during taxi, takeoff, and landing.
• Up to 2 pets of the same species and similar size may share a carrier, provided no body parts protrude, and • animals are not in distress.
• Pets with offensive odors or causing noise disturbance must travel in the climate-controlled baggage compartment.

Pets in baggage compartment:

• Combined weight of pet and carrier must not exceed 150 pounds.
• You must be on the same flight(s) as your pet
• Dogs and cats must be at least 8 weeks old and weaned.
• Pets not allowed in the baggage compartment of flights using Airbus aircrafts.
• Health certificate from a licensed veterinarian required for each pet.
• Brachycephalic dogs and cats not accepted in the baggage compartment.
• Maximum of 1 dog or cat (6+ months old) per carrier.
• Maximum of 1 puppy (8 weeks to 6 months, over 20 pounds) per carrier.
• Maximum of 2 puppies or kittens (8 weeks to 6 months, 20 pounds or less each, comparable size) per carrier.
• Animals must be harmless, inoffensive, and require no attention during transit.
• Additional restrictions and documentation may apply for travel to Hawaii or internationally.
• Please provide food and water to your pet within 4 hours of check-in and complete a Pet Check record.
